The newest member of the Spectrum8 Executive team is Dr Naima Stennett. Dr Stennett will help develop the company's in the areas of sports performance, injury prevention, and fitness.
Dr. Naima Stennett is a Primary care sports medicine physician at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNc). She is also the team physician for UNC Track and field. She is a native of Jamaica and a former member of the Jamaica National Volleyball Team which afforded her the opportunity to attend North Carolina Central University (NCCU) to play volleyball .She completed her residency at Jackson memorial hospital at the University of Miami. After she completed her Sports Medicine Fellowship at UNC at Chapel Hill. Her career goals include working with athletes both at the collegiate and professional level including the Jamaica national teams. She also currently mentors students who would like to pursue in the health science. Outside of medicine she enjoys cycling, traveling and weight lifting. hopes to start a cycle club at her NCCU.
